Everyone deserves to be heard

Hear Me Now is a communication app for children and adults who don't speak. They tap pictures and words on a simple grid, and the app speaks for them.

What it is

A picture board that speaks

Hear Me Now is an AAC app, short for augmentative and alternative communication. The screen is a board of pictures and words. Tap them to build a sentence, and the app reads it aloud. Each board is built around one person: their family, their favorite foods, the places they go. You add words as they're ready for them.

Who it serves

Who it's for

For families

Give someone who doesn't speak a reliable way to be understood, wherever they are.

For clinicians

See how a client communicates between sessions. Set goals and keep notes, without changing what the family set up.

How it works

Simple to use

A board that talks

Tap pictures and words to build a sentence, then hear it out loud. The whole board fits on one screen, so there's nothing to scroll.

Voices you choose

Pick a natural-sounding voice, or record a family member and have the app speak in their voice instead.

For parents and clinicians

Parents and caregivers add and change words over time. Invited clinicians can follow along, set goals, and keep notes in the same place.

Synced across devices

Change a word on your phone and it shows up on their tablet right away.
